MX Record Checker
Paste email addresses or domains to verify their mail server (MX) records are properly configured.
⚡ Need Full Email Verification?
MX checking only tells you if a domain can receive email. NoEscape Email Debouncer goes further — it connects directly via port 25 SMTP to verify the actual mailbox exists, detects catch-all domains, disposable addresses, and role-based emails. No per-email API cost. We provide the server infrastructure.
What is MX Record Validation?
MX (Mail Exchange) records tell the internet which mail servers accept email for a domain. This free tool checks whether those records exist and are reachable — if a domain has no MX records, any email sent to it will hard bounce immediately.
MX Check vs Full Email Verification
MX validation is just the first layer. A domain can have valid MX records but the specific mailbox
(e.g. john@company.com) may not exist.
NoEscape Email Debouncer performs a full SMTP handshake on port 25 to verify the actual mailbox —
without sending a single email. That’s a completely different product from this MX checker.
