This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of all Brain Lead services, including but not limited to our email verification API, carrier lookup services, SMS API, and desktop software products. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.

2. Permitted Uses

Brain Lead services may be used for:

• Email list cleaning and verification for marketing purposes
• Carrier and phone number lookup for data enrichment
• SMS messaging with proper consent from recipients
• Lead generation and data extraction from public sources
• Application development and integration via our APIs
• Testing and quality assurance of email systems

3. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Brain Lead services to:

• Spam: Send unsolicited bulk emails in violation of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or other applicable laws
• Phishing: Create, distribute, or facilitate phishing campaigns or identity theft
• Malware: Distribute viruses, malware, ransomware, or other malicious software
• Illegal Content: Promote or distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
• Abuse: Attempt to bypass rate limits, circumvent access controls, or abuse free tier limits
• Harassment: Use our services to harass, threaten, or intimidate individuals
• Reverse Engineering: Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code from our software
• Resale Without Agreement: Resell our services without a valid reseller agreement

4. Rate Limits & Fair Use

To ensure service quality for all users:

• Free tier: 250 verifications/day, 10 carrier lookups/day
• API requests are rate-limited based on your plan
• Excessive abuse of free tools may result in IP blocking
• Desktop software is licensed per-device via HWID binding

5. Data Responsibility

Brain Lead provides verification and lookup tools. You are solely responsible for how you use the data and results obtained from our services. We do not monitor, control, or take responsibility for the content of messages you send or the emails you verify. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

6. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates this AUP, without prior notice. In cases of severe violations:

• Your account may be permanently banned
• Remaining credits are non-refundable
• Desktop software licenses may be revoked
• Your IP may be blocked from our services
